The Woodlands Christian Academy announces 2016 homecoming court

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Christian Academy announced their 2016 Homecoming King and Queen on Friday, Sept. 23.

Seniors David Cure and Hailey Watterson were crowned during the halftime ceremony of the Warriors homecoming football game vs. Rosehill Christian.

Senior court attendees included Issac Hudson, Emily Rogers, Leland Henry, Randall Miller, Micah Dial and Austin Baker. Junior class attendees were Sam Powers and Autumn Goodwin. Representing the underclassmen were Thomas Freet, Ariel Tucker, Aaron Monsivaiz and Bella Eddie.

Court attendees were nominated by The Woodlands Christian Academy faculty and elected by the student body.

In keeping with the school’s four foundational pillars, members of the homecoming court demonstrate spiritual strength in their daily lives, strive for excellence in the classroom, are positive role models and maintain healthy lifestyles.

The Woodlands Christian Warriors defeated Rosehill Christian in the homecoming match up 41-13.
