THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Interfaith Community Clinic has partnered with Memorial Hermann In the Pink of Health to offer free mammograms for uninsured women who qualify in Montgomery County.

Over 1,000 bags were distributed to grocery stores in the county with information on where to go for a free mammogram. Participating grocery stores include: Brookshire Brothers in Magnolia and New Caney, Hodges Supermarket in Oakridge North and Frutilandia in Conroe.

The goal is to reach out to women in Montgomery County who are uninsured and eligible for a free breast screening. Mammograms are at no cost to qualified individuals and will be performed at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital by appointment only.

“Early detection is key to saving lives. We are grateful to Memorial Hermann In the Pink of Health for providing life-saving mammograms to women in Montgomery County,” said Missy Herndon, Interfaith Community Clinic President and CEO.
