Police investigating second sexual assault in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two sexual assaults at Trailpoint at The Woodlands apartment complex in the 2300 block of South Millbend.

The first attack occurred Sept. 16. The second assault occurred Oct. 13.

Deputies now believe the same man is responsible for both.

In the early morning hours of October 13, 2016 the adult female victim reported to the Sheriff’s Office that an unknown male entered her residence through an unlocked rear patio door. The victim describes the male as being Caucasian or Hispanic, approximately 18 to 24years of age, with a slight accent. He was wearing black work pants, a black tee shirt and white tennis shoes. The suspect used a bed sheet to restrain the victim which also obscured his identity. After the assault the suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
