Tipler Design and Build has broken ground on a third custom showcase home in the Woodforest neighborhood of Pine Island, a walkable enclave highlighted by classic architecture.

Tipler is planning a Hamptons-inspired property for its first home in Woodforest, the best-selling community in South Montgomery County. The 6,100-square-foot design features five bedrooms, two-story ceilings and a game room with a balcony overlooking the No. 6 hole of the west course of Woodforest Golf Club. An optional 600 square feet of additional space allows owners to configure the home to their specific needs.

Details such as engineered hand-scraped hardwood floors, upgraded quartz countertops and custom light fixtures have been specifically chosen for the home by Tipler’s in-house team of designers, who ensure each home by The Woodlands-based builder is truly customized. Other features of the home, priced at $2.1 million, include a large island kitchen with professional Dacor appliances; full baths outfitted with upgraded tile designs, furniture vanities and nickel hardware; and a coffee station and freestanding tub in the master bath. Covered porches in the front and back increase the home’s entertainment space.

“We wanted to introduce an architectural style into the Pine Island neighborhood that would bring ample natural light and a calming ambience into our homes, and we believe our coastal-inspired design meets this objective,” said Justin Tipler, manager partner at Tipler Design and Build.

“Pine Island is a development focused on community, so offering great indoor and outdoor entertaining space around each home was a priority and played an important role in our design process,” Tipler said. “We are excited to see this property take shape in the coming weeks and look forward to helping our clients settle into this stunning new neighborhood.”
The Tipler Design and Build showcase home is in the Estate District of Pine Island, a gated enclave of golf course properties that are at least a half-acre, with some neighborhood homesites up to three-fourths of an acre. Manicured gardens and tree-lined boulevards will give Pine Island a timeless appeal.

“The three showcase homes underway in the Estate District will be beyond compare,” said Virgil Yoakum, general manager of Woodforest. “These luxury builders were carefully selected for Pine Island because of their stunning architecture and reputation for excellence. We can’t wait to watch these multi-million dollar homes unfold over the next 10 to 12 months.”
