  • Peanut butter
  • Granola bars
  • Fruit snacks

The Buddy Backpack Program was designed to meet the needs of hungry children at times when school resources are not available, such as weekends and school vacations.

The program relies solely upon contributions from the community. Without assistance, students would receive their last meal as part of their school’s free lunch program on Friday and would have to wait until Monday when they returned to school for the free breakfast program.

Donations will be accepted at the Chamber office, 9320 Lakeside Boulevard, The Woodlands, 77381, through Jan. 31.

To make a monetary donation, call the Chamber at 281-367-5777.
