District 2

On January 16, a District Two Deputy stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation on Honea Egypt near Fish Creek. The investigation led the Deputy to locate less than two ounces of marijuana in the vehicle. The 42 year old female driver, from Montgomery, was arrested at 11:10pm, charged with possession of marijuana, and transported to jail.

On January 17, a District Two Deputy observed a vehicle sitting at the air pumps in the 25000 block of Interstate 45N. An intoxicated male was passed out on the parking lot near the vehicle surrounded by several beer cans. Another male was standing next to the vehicle and was found to be intoxicated. Both males, ages 19 and 20, from Atascocita and Humble, respectively, were arrested at 12:29am, charged with public intoxication, and taken to jail.

District 6

On January 12, 2017, a District 6 Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Six Pines Drive. During the course of the traffic stop, the deputy detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle did not locate the marijuana, but six baggies containing a white powered substance were located on the passenger side kick panel. The substance field tested positive for cocaine. The suspect, a 20 year old male, was taken into custody for Possession of Controlled Substance and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On January 13, 2017 a District 6 Deputy was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive in reference to a Shoplifter in Custody call. The suspect, an 18 year old male, attempted to take $545.55 worth of merchandise from Macy’s Department Store. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
