Charitable women's boutique to open at Market Street in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Philanthropy, a Christ-centered boutique offering women’s fashions and accessories, will open its doors in March at Market Street.

The boutique was created with the belief that a business built around charitable works and grounded in Christ could make a difference in the world. Philanthropy features stylish clothing and accessories for ladies and strives to be a one-of- a-kind shopping experience that focuses on the power of prayer in an everyday walk with their customers.

Owned by former NFL and University of Houston football player Jackie Battle and his wife Christine, Philanthropy offers three collections: Timeless, Fearless and Priceless. These are meant to reflect the three stages of a woman’s life.

Since its inception in 2007, Philanthropy has donated more than $800,000 to local charities in the cities they serve. In addition to Market Street, Philanthropy also has boutiques located in Franklin, TN; Cape Girardeau, MO and St. Augustine, FL.
