Martin, Earl & Stilwell announce the addition of Hunsaker & Perone

The partners at Martin, Earl & Stilwell LLP announce that Macy Hunsaker and Franco Perone have joined the firm. Ms. Hunsaker is a licensed Texas attorney whose practice focuses on estate planning and business transactions. Mr. Perone is a licensed Texas attorney whose practice focuses on the areas of probate, probate litigation and general civil litigation.

“Adding Macy and Franco to our team of attorneys expands our ability to help our clients,” noted Managing Partner James Stilwell. “Their respective talents will benefit both sides of our practice (our business and estate planning practice; and our probate and litigation practice). Ms. Hunsaker received her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in History from Texas A&M University in College Station and her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. After earning her J.D., Macy moved to Houston and obtained her Masters of Law in Taxation from the University of Houston Law Center.

She enjoys a wide range of hobbies including water-skiing, fishing, hunting, and attending Broadway shows at the Hobby Theater and concerts by the Houston Symphony. On the weekends, you can usually find Macy at her family’s ranch, where she helps maintain a small cattle operation and has an active role in wildlife management. She successfully started a Bobwhite Quail repopulation program and the ranch can now boast that its quail population, which started at 150 birds, has grown to almost 500 birds.
Franco was born and raised in Houston. He earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in Houston and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from St. Edward’s University in Austin. Mr. Perone represents executors as well as beneficiaries and enjoys working with clients to guide them through the legal process. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling in the U.S. and abroad, and playing guitar. He also enjoys helping local as well as national charities and non-profits such as the Houston Food Bank and the Red Cross providing services to the community.
