Hurricane Harvey deadlines: What you need to know this week

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- Hurricane Harvey-related services will soon end, while others are popping up. Mark these dates on your calendar.

Monday Oct. 16

If you still have debris, make sure it is in the county right-of-way and report it. The link on the website will be taken down on October 16 at 7 p.m. and they will only pick up the debris that has been reported on or before that time. There are two ways to report your debris:

On our website www.mctxoem.org – there is a new registration link for debris removal only
By calling 936-523-3916 by 5 p.m. Monday October 16.

You may also take your debris to one of the debris sites for public drop off:

242 – Northwest corner of 1314 & 242 – 8 am -5 pm. Closing permanently October 16 at 5 p.m.
10990 Seven Coves Rd – Conroe – 8 am – 5 pm. Closing permanently October 16 at 5 p.m.

Friday Oct. 20

D-SNAP: Montgomery County’s Disaster Supplement Nutrition Assistance Program known as D- SNAP begins on Monday October 16 and goes through Friday October 20.

October 24, 2017 is the deadline for applying for FEMA assistance. If you have any questions regarding FEMA programs you can visit any DRC and speak with a FEMA representative face to face. The following Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) are open in Montgomery County:
