Interfaith of The Woodlands welcomes Jen McDonald as new marketing specialist

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Interfaith of The Woodlands is proud to announce the appointment of Jen McDonald to the role of Marketing Specialist for Interfaith of The Woodlands. In this role, McDonald will focus on enhancing Interfaith’s online and social media presence and work on sharing Interfaith’s mission to build a more loving and caring community through service to our community.

McDonald comes to Interfaith with an extensive background in marketing, brand development, graphic design, photography, and web design. In 2008 Jen launched her company, Jen McDonald Designs, where she began building her clientele through her unique designs and talent. This clientele list not only includes local businesses but many local non-profits as well including Interfaith of The Woodlands, HOPE: The Will Herndon Research Fund, Junior League of The Woodlands, All Ears! Listening and Language Center, Montgomery County Food Bank, and National Charity League, Inc.

“Jen’s extensive experience in branding, graphic design and non-profit work make her a natural fit for this position,” shared Missy Herndon, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands. “ She has been actively participating in Interfaith’s programs as a volunteer and assisted with the rebranding of multiple events over the past few years. We are excited to have her passion and talent on our team.”

McDonald has been impacting The Woodlands community with her determination to give back. She has used her time and talents volunteering in various fundraising events benefiting local non-profits such as Giving Goes Glam, Lone Star Foundation Gala, and Junior League Kids in the Kitchen. She was recently named a 2017 Montgomery County Woman of Distinction.

“Having lived in The Woodlands for the past 8 years, I have seen the impact that Interfaith makes in our community,” said McDonald. “I feel so fortunate to now work for this local non-profit that serves families and seniors with such heart! As we move into Interfaith’s 45th year, I look forward to being a part of furthering their mission.”
