Boys place 18 out of 37 teams

Competing in the finals for the Dragons:

Chris Seymour 100 Fly, 3rd place (51.32), 500 Free 9th place (4:40.06)

William Staebel 100 Free 8th place (48.37)

From Coach Steve Breeding: Starting the afternoon finals competition for the John Cooper swimmers, Chris Seymour swam a personal best of 51.32, placing third in the 100 Fly.

Chris is one of the best second-half of the race swimmers I’ve seen, dominating the consolation finals, 500 Free with a winning time of 4:40.06, improving his best time by 4.26 seconds.

William Staebel competed in the finals of the 100, placing 8th with a time of 48.37, just hundredths off his best and faster than he swam in the morning prelims.
