THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Sun & Ski, the iconic Houston retailer specializing in outdoor equipment, apparel, and footwear, will debut a “pop up” shop at Market Street in The Woodlands on Monday, December 4th. The pop up will be located in suite 1060, next to Tesla, and will remain at Market Street through the end of January.

Sun & Ski is the latest brand to pop up at Market Street

Sun & Ski is just one of the latest brands to do a pop up shop at Market Street. It’s a concept that not only Market Street, but the retail industry at-large, is embracing as traditional brick and mortar retail evolves.

“Market Street customers can expect more and more pop up shops come 2018,” says General Manager, Jenny Taylor. “Last month we brought in local Houston Boutique, Carrie Ann, for a pop up. This month we have Sun & Ski given the popularity of winter ski vacations in the community, and we have exciting collaborations planned for 2018. We know pop ups are the new era of retail based on how well they are received by our customers.”

Market Street used the new website, http://popupshops.io, to facilitate the pop up between themselves and Sun & Ski. Pop Up Shops is a Houston-based start up that describes itself as the match.com between brands (like Sun & Ski) and retailers (like Market Street) that are looking to participate in pop ups.
