37,000 Sqft Industrial Acquisition in the Woodlands Complete

THE WOODLANDS, TX - Woodsedge Properties announced today that it negotiated and closed the purchase of a 37,500 square-foot office warehouse project located behind the Costco Warehouse on TX-242. Danny Sanchez, Director of Commercial Real Estate at Woodsedge Properties, closed the transaction with the assistance of David Murphy, member attorney at the Law Offices of Murphy and Associates, PLLC. The details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Located at 17027 S Trade Center in The Woodlands, the facility is currently undergoing renovations to expand its leasing area to over 57,000 sqft. Over 40,000 sqft have been pre-leased by marquee tenants, including North Water District Laboratory Services (NWDLS), the leading water and toxicology testing laboratory in the Houston Metro area, Eskimo Insulation, and the business office of Olde Dobbin Station. Woodsedge Properties has been retained to lease the remaining 15,000 sqft of office space.

“We can’t wait to consolidate our operations in a single building,” said Derek McCoy, Chief Executive Officer of NWDLS. “Besides the financial benefit of a larger, long-term lease deal on the building, centralizing operations will enable us to deploy our fleet into a wider service area to better serve our clients.'
