THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Can you believe school starts in about a month? At least there's still time to do some fun summer stuff. Here's our Top 5 Things to Do This Week in The Woodlands.

The Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Coalition (TWRC) rescues critters from across the state, including here in Montgomery County. They notably rehabilitated and released Harvey the Hurricane Hawk after she flew into an open taxi window seeking shelter during the September 2017 storm. The nonprofit continues to recover from the costs of the hurricane, as well as tend to some 1,000 wild ones a year. You can help Wednesday July 18 at a benefit fundraiser by Grammy award winner David Ball (of The Charlie Riley Band) at Dosey Doe – The Big Barn, 25911 I-45 North. Arrive at 5:30 p.m. to meet TWRC Wildlife Center Animal Ambassadors Iris the Owl and Olive the Opossum. A special menu is available at the family-friendly event before the concert begins. For tickets visit www.twrcwildlifecenter.org/david-ball.

Rock the Row Summer Series is back at Hughes Landing. Gather your friends and family for the free event at Hughes Landing on scenic Lake Woodlands 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Thursday July 19. Fidelity Maxx, described as "Motown/Funky Pop" will take the stage. The popular series was to begin the week before, but an intense, unexpected summer storm led to its cancellation – so this will be the first one of the summer. Rock the Row is slated for every Thursday evening through August 16.
