THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Coming off a rivalry classic with The Woodlands High School, College Park faces their next toughest test against undefeated perennial powerhouse Klein Collins. Cavalier Head Coach Lonnie Madison, and former Klein Collins Defensive Coordinator will make his highly anticipated return to Klein Memorial Stadium Thursday, Sept 27th, 2018.

The Cavaliers are coming into this week 3-1, 1-1 in district play, and an overall record of 3-1. Already an improvement from their last four seasons. With the state playoffs in everyone's mind, the Cavaliers are itching for their second district win.

Coach Lonnie Madison’s offense has been the talk of the town. The Cavalier’s offensive has been performing on all cylinders. Keep an eye on Tyler Givens, Peyton Sobosle, QuaJon Charles, Aaron Randle, Jake Hunnicutt, and Joshua Bankhead for the Cavaliers.

The College Park Cavaliers and second-year coach Lonnie Madison gave Jake Hunnicutt the keys to the offense last season. The senior quarterback has doubled his yards and touchdowns this season. Hunnicutt has found success finding his receivers and big targets. Peyton Sobosle, the UTSA commit has been hard at work, becoming the engine for the Cavaliers offense, and scoring five touchdowns so far this year.

The constant motor in the Klein Collins offense is running back Isaiah Spiller. The top 5 running back in the state, has been torching opponents secondaries. Recently Spiller has been awarded The UA All-American, District 15-6A Offensive MVP, ESPN 300, Opening Finals Alumni, and now the Texas A&M Commit has been taken the Klein Collins Tigers to another level. Isaiah Spiller received offers from Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, UH, Iowa State, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, Rice, SMU, TCU, Southern Miss and Tulsa. Klein Collins has started out the year 4-0, and if the Cavaliers look to dethrone the undefeated foes, they will have to make sure Spiller and quarterback Carter Rhyne have an uncharacteristic night.

With College Park having a dynamic run game themselves, Junior running back QuaJon Charles will look to introduce himself to scouts this Thursday night. Senior Running back Aaron Randle and Sophomore Alexander Leal will be the other backs assisting QuaJon Charles to push the offense forward.

The College Park Cavaliers will face off against the Klein Collins Tigers September 27th, 7:00 pm Thursday @ at Klein Memorial. Thursday nights "Game Highlights" will be presented by Hal Watson Air Conditioning Company.
