April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month

Linkedin
National Child Abuse Prevention Month aims to increase awareness and educate the public on child abuse prevention. We're living through stressful and uncertain times and parental stress can lead to maltreatment at home. One way to prevent child abuse is to reach out to parents with an offer to help or to remind them to take time to take care of themselves. You can find more resources on prevention on the U.S. Children's Bureau website.

For over 40 years, YES to YOUTH has been providing services to prevent youth from suffering negative outcomes because of family crises. Our programs build resiliency in youth and families by providing them with tools to cope with life's challenges while preventing conflict, family violence, child abuse and neglect, runaway behavior, and homelessness.
