HS Basketball: 2022 District Season Opener

THE WOODLANDS, TX – District boys basketball starts this week. Here are a list of games going on Tuesday night!

Tuesday - 11/29/2022

Grand Oaks vs College Park
Grand Oaks High School – 7 pm
Last season Grand Oaks went overall 23-12 with a district record of 10-5. College Park made a run in the playoffs and finished off the season with an overall record of 27-9 and a district record of 15-0.

Conroe vs Caney Creek
Conroe High School – 7 pm
Last season Conroe struggled in districts but looks to change it up as they are currently 3-3 overall while Caney Creek is the new comer in the district. They also struggled last year as they went, overall: 7-22 with a district record of 3-11.

New Caney vs Willis
New Caney High School – 7 pm
Much like football, New Caney’s basketball team looked great last year with an overall record of 23-13 and a district record of 10-4. Willis looks to turn things around this season as they struggled last year with an overall record: 8-26 and a district record of 2-13.

Oak Ridge vs The Woodlands
Oak Ridge High School – 7 pm
The Woodlands have started off pre-season with a 4-2 record while last season they went 20-14 overall and 10-5 in districts. They will face Oak Ridge who has been struggling in the pre-season as well as last season.
