The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement until today at 3:45 p.m. A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of Montgomery County, including Conroe and The Woodlands. At 3:18, radar tracked a strong storm 7 miles west of Conroe and moving northeast at 50 mph, with winds in excess of 30 mph and pea-sized hail. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter indoors.
