As fun as it is to see your little one’s teeth start to appear, the process of teething can be miserable for them! If you find your little one starting to have symptoms of drooling, minimal appetite, chin rash, chewing on anything they can get their gums on, trouble sleeping or swollen gums, you may be entering into the teething process. These symptoms can start a few days before the tooth breaks through and last while the teeth are growing in. You can help them get relief be applying a cold, wet cloth to their gums or using cold teething toys.

If you have teething questions or need advice on how to help your little one through the teething process, give us a call! Our pediatric dentists can help you and your child through the early stages of growing teeth and into proper dental care as their pearly whites begin to show!
