Local businessman riding for Bike MS
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Local businessman, Larry Deckerhoff, is joining others in the Bike MS fundraising ride. As a member of the Exxon Mobil Cycling Team, Deckerhoff is raising funds to change the world for people affected by multiple sclerosis. The BP MS 150 Houston to Austin ride will take place this weekend, April 27 and 28. The total mileage for each route varies between 140 and 170 miles.
According to the National MS Society website, “Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body.”
Deckerhoff set an ambitious goal and is seeking donations for this charitable ride. The money raised through Bike MS fuels cutting-edge MS research and critical services to ensure people affected by MS have the resources they need to live their best lives.
