Memorial Hermann’s In The Pink of Health; Help Fight Breast and Ovarian Cancer and Assist Survivors
THE WOODLANDS, TX – “Cancer doesn’t stop in a pandemic and neither do we,” Memorial Hermann stated at their 20th Annual In the Pink of Health event, which held was virtually this year.
In the Pink of Health celebrates the many ways that Memorial Hermann has helped our community fight breast and ovarian cancers, as well as supports all cancer survivors.
Their website states that, “According to the American Cancer Society, an estimated 250,000 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed and an estimated 25,000 new cases of ovarian cancer are expected this year.
In the Pink of Health is a group of inspired women who change lives by raising funds to impact these statistics, reduce the incidence of breast and ovarian cancer and assist survivors in their journey. To date, Memorial Hermann In the Pink of Health has raised over $6.6 million to fight breast and ovarian cancer through education, early detection and outreach.
Thanks to strategic community partnerships, each year In the Pink of Health funds projects that support its mission, changing the lives of women and families in Montgomery County and beyond.”
