Dr. Ryan McDonald is board certified in neurology.
He graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Rice University. He then obtained his master's degree in electrical engineering at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Dr. McDonald taught engineering in Taiwan as a Henry Luce Scholar. Following eight years of employment as an engineer at National Instruments in Austin, Texas, he completed his medical degree, internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He joined The Woodlands Neurology and Sleep in 2008.
