Celebrate National Scavenger Hunt Day with Us!
In honor of National Scavenger Hunt Day, we're kicking off a week-long community art scavenger hunt starting May 17th! The excitement begins with a special collaboration at Art in The Woods, our vibrant outdoor art market.
What is National Scavenger Hunt Day?
Observed annually on May 24th, National Scavenger Hunt Day pays tribute to Elsa Maxwell, the 1930s party planner credited with popularizing the modern scavenger hunt. Each year, this day inspires people and organizations worldwide to host hunts that bring communities together in the spirit of fun and adventure.
How It Works:
From May 17th to May 23rd, a branded box containing a clue and details about an original artwork by a gallery artist will be hidden at a public location in The Woodlands.
-
Each morning, a new box will be placed in a different spot.
-
Clues will be shared throughout the day on our social media accounts.
-
Find the box, and the artwork is yours to keep!
-
Bring the box to the gallery to officially claim your prize.
Let the hunt begin—and happy treasure hunting!
