    Position: Medical Assistant

    Environment: Primary Care / Internal Medicine

    Hours: Mon-Fri 7:30am - 5:00pm

    Salary: $15 - $20 per hour, depending on experience and education

    Benefits: Medical Insurance

    Overview: Facilitate patient care in a primary care setting by assisting a physician with clinical activities, including welcoming and rooming patients, taking vitals, documenting medical records, completing forms, injecting vaccines, performing EKGs and PFTs, and receiving and returning phone calls with patients.

    Assist physician during exams and medical procedures
    Enter patient information into medical record system
    Administer vaccines and injections and keep shot records
    Stock rooms with supplies and maintain inventory
    Schedule patients for new and follow up visits
    Perform EKGs, PFTs, and other clinical activities
    Greet patients and capture vitals with accuracy
    Effectively communicate in person and by phone
    Avoid social media and online shopping at work
