Job Description

Job Description:
The successful candidate will assist advisers in servicing clients and implement proposed client solutions including but not limited to the execution of client transactions, processing of client deliverables, and the creation of financial plans and investment portfolios. This is primarily a data driven analytical position and not a sales position.

This position requires a pro-active approach and ability to independently carry out the duties of the position. The ideal candidate should exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, good judgment and ability to take initiative and prioritize daily tasks. The ability to effectively manage time and multi-task with attention to detail is critical to this role.

Responsibilities:
-Responsible for the plan production schedule and the timely delivery of financial plans to the adviser.
-Responsible for financial planning fee tracking.
-Executes client transactions recommended in the financial plans and other transaction requests.
-As directed, assists advisers in servicing clients – collects and inputs data for financial plans, and runs scenarios.
-Prepares and processes client deliverables.
-Responsible for portfolio monitoring, review, and administration.
-Work directly with the Client Service Manager to ensure all client account paperwork including appropriate applications, forms, consolidated statements, are adequately prepared prior to client meetings.
-Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing firm clients to ensure a superior level of client satisfaction.
-Provides general administrative duties such as set up of client files, filing of financial plan data, and scanning.
-Provides back-up assistance for other associates, if necessary.
-Accepts and performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Knowledge:
-Demonstrates analytical ability, good judgment, problem solving, responsibility, personal integrity, and is able to deal with confidential information on a daily basis.
-A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, positive professional attitude and demeanor.
-Must be able to exercise judgment, tact and diplomacy on behalf of supervisors when dealing with other executives and levels of management.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
-Proficient in Google Apps
-Experience in Salesforce and Evestnet highly desired.
-Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills.
-Professional and articulate with strong attention to detail.
-Ability to work efficiently, effectively and independently to see projects through to conclusion.
-Excellent time management, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential problems.

Experience:
Bachelor's degree required
Must have 3-5 years of related experience
Knowledge of the financial services industry
