Job Description

We are an outpatient, fee for service health and wellness center located in The Woodlands. We use an integrated treatment model and our multidisciplinary treatment team includes neuropsychologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, licensed professional counselors, academic diagnosticians, reading and math specialists, executive/ life coaches, and health psychologist.  We specialize in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults with ADHD and memory issues, autism spectrum disorders, general psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, oppositional defiance, PTSD and substance abuse disorders. Additional services include neurofeedback, health psychology, executive/life skills coaching. We also have an intensive outpatient program for clients who do not want or qualify for hospitalization. We are looking for a dynamic, well-versed therapist to join our team.  

 Duties of Contract Staff Therapist

-Assess and diagnose mental health disorders.
-Develop treatment plans/goals.
-Provide individual and/or family therapy.
-Provide group counseling.
-Provide educational groups or workshops.
-Provide crisis intervention services to clients who are a danger to themselves or others.
-Provide executive skills/life skills coaching.
-Ensure documentation is entered into the electronic health record and deadlines for completion are consistently met.
-Contribute to client care by participating in clinical staff meetings to review client progress and treatment plans.
-Maintain compliance with federal and state regulatory standard.
-Maintain strict confidentiality on all clients.
-Participate in marketing activities.

Skills Required

Applicants must

-Have training/certification in the areas of (but not limited to) CBT, Behavioral Medication, and Substance Abuse.
-Be competent at intake assessment, diagnosis and treatment, rapport building and ethical use of therapeutic techniques.
-Demonstrate knowledge of how to establish goals/treatment objectives and how to modify treatment plans.
-Work effectively as part of a team.
-Hold current Texas LPC or LFMT license.


Contract rate is based on experience/skills.  Must be available to see clients during afternoon and/or evening hours Monday through Saturday however specific days/hours are negotiable.
