 Full Time, Salary, with  benefits
Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm/ Flexible Schedule
 
 
 
The Compliance Manager maintains the transportation department as well as certain grants within the organization. This position develops and manages agency-wide policies and procedures pertaining to the implementation of certain grants within the agency as well as in transportation. This position also designs and executes processes for internal auditing of certain grants and transportation related processes and procedures.  This position has seven full time and three part time support staff.  It also is supported by County and City Community Center coordinators.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Direct and manage agency staff and County Community Coordinators with regard to necessary monthly and annual duties.
 
• Work directly with Executive Director and Director of Finance to coordinate reporting, audit responses and other transportation budget and grant-related activities.
 
• Complete reports and analysis of grants and transportation activities as needed.
 
• Manages, prepares and/or reviews monthly reports as required by various organizations and ensure accuracy and completeness.
 
• Serves as a resource for staff of all grant-related and transportation policy, rules, regulation and compliance matters.
 
• Conducts monthly monitoring and reviews of program performance activities and provide information to other leadership to adjust.
 
• Establishes and maintains electronic and hard copy client and program records to ensure compliance with grant record retention requirements.
 
• Works as liaison between MOWMC and various agencies.

Skills Required
• Ability to understand, analyze, and interpret grantor guidelines, financial reports, and grant agreements.
 
• Ability to respond effectively to complex inquiries from other agencies.
 
 
• Ability to present information effectively to staff, management and board 
members
 
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
 
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently under deadlines and changing priorities.
 
• Ability to solve problems creatively in order to meet agency goals and objectives.
 
 
• Possess excellent project management, time management and organizational skills.
 
• Ability to set and revise policies and procedures while brokering buy-in from all stakeholders.
 
 
• Demonstrated capacity to frame complex situations and present options.
 
• Possess effective written and oral communication skills.
