This position is Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. We offer sick, vacation and holiday pay.
Responsible for:

Assisting one or more teachers as directed.
Assuming responsibility for a group of children.
Supervising play activities by participating with the children in group games, by enforcing safety rules, by intervening when children are likely to injure themselves or each other, and by remaining with one or more children until relieved by another adult.
Preparing supplies and the environment for activities.
Dusting all shelves and cleaning all equipment weekly.
Maintaining an orderly environment for the group.
Observing, recording, and reporting individual children’s behavior as assigned.
Assisting children with self-care activities.
Assisting individual children who experience difficulty in the group or who temporarily lose their physical or emotional control.
Assisting with meal and snack service, playground and nap room.
Maintaining a tidy and hygienic environment for the group.

Must be at least 18 years old, must be able to pass an FBI background check, must be able to lift a max. of 25 pounds. Must be dependable and timely. Must be willing to complete annual training required and get employer paid 1st Aid/CPR certification.
