Job Description


Assist the Facility Manager in maintaining the proper functionality of the venue infrastructure and be the venue representative post-events, during load-in days/weeks, during small private events, on weekends during construction projects, or other times, as needed and directed, when the Facilities Manager and Vice President of Operations are not on site.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following

Supervise the Operations Crew.
Supervise Overnight Security when the Facilities Manager is not on site.
Upkeep of the venue including electrical, carpentry, painting, pressure washing, seat repair, garbage collection/removal, and additional tasks.
Setup & conversion of the venue for events (concerts, performing arts events, rentals, meetings, etc.). Including the setup and breakdown of production requested needs, the placement of tents, tables, and signage, lighting, power, transportation of goods, and additional tasks.
Oversee and manage the cleaning of the venue after an event.
Receive and promptly respond to calls/reports regarding venue safety, equipment needs, cleanliness, or any other issues on both event and non-event days.
Assist in the training of new Operations Crew employees.
Assist in maintaining operating equipment, by performing preventative maintenance, ensuring proper usage, and repairing when needed.
Pick-up and/or delivery of supplies as needed
Perform additional duties as needed and directed
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body; be able to reach overhead; be able to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time; be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks; and be able to frequently lift 30 pounds.

Operate machinery including forklifts, aerial lifts, tractors, and utility vehicles
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
