Trinity Episcopal Day School, a small Christian preschool, is seeking an exceptional individual to join our Specials team as our school Spanish teacher.

Trinity Episcopal Day School offers its students an opportunity to be exposed to a foreign language at an early age. Oral introduction to vocabulary is integrated with classroom themes using puppets, songs, and games. The program promotes interest and appreciation for Spanish-speaking people and their cultures, contributing to an attitude of global understanding and awareness. Spanish is one of the rotational specials classes our students attend - the others are music and library.

The Spanish teacher will see all classes from our youngest 'Cubbies' (12 months) through Junior Kindergarten (5-6 years old). Spanish classes usually occur on Monday and Tuesday for 20 to 30 minutes per class, however our schedule is somewhat flexible.

TEDS is open Monday through Thursday, 8:45 am to 12:00, with extended hours to 2:00 pm and Friday from 8:45 to 12:00 pm. We follow the CISD school schedule and are closed holidays and summers. We are seeking people who truly love working with children in a collegiate and supportive environment. Our school is a team! College Degree preferred - Minimum high school diploma
Experience in working with young children
Willingness to collaborate as part of a team
Assume postures in low level positions that best allow for physical and visual contact with children
Must pass background check
