Job Description

The Sum is seeking a Financial Advisor Assistant to join our growing team. The Financial Advisor Assistant plays an integral support role to help set The Sum apart from others in the financial services industry by providing outstanding client services.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support to advisors
• Administrative client onboarding tasks including scheduling and confirming appointments,
preparation of forms, coordination with clients and document management
• Assist with opening accounts, moving funds, transferring accounts including working with the clients
to complete these tasks
• Assist with newsletter, social media postings, email blasts
• Organize, assist in planning and executing team and client events
• General office management duties including, answering phones, filing, vendor management, etc.
Desired Skills & Experience:
• 1+ years of experience in administrative role, experience in financial services a plus
• Detail oriented, analytical and research-oriented
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Team-oriented person who can work well with others in a fast-paced environment
• Creative self-starter with initiative to follow through
• Must be organized and handle multiple projects in an efficient manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
• Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation

Skills Required

• 1+ years of experience in administrative role, experience in financial services a plus
