Coordinator of Children’s Music - ELCA Lutheran church in The Woodlands, TX seeks Coordinator of Children’s Music whose Primary focus is K-2 choir opportunity. Practice on Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:00 (mostly singing, but can also involve movement, dance, hand chimes, etc.) as well as leading music for 10-15 minutes at the Sunday School gathering time at 9:45 a.m. (a mix of camp songs, hymns, contemporary Christian songs). This position is new, so can be crafted to suit the gifts of the chosen applicant. We also hope to include short-term choir opportunities for 3rd-6th graders in the weeks immediately before Christmas and Easter. Interested applicants can send a resume to Dan Fenn.

Must have demonstrated musical ability. Should understand the nuances of working with a large group of young children and possess the spirit and demeanor to create an inviting, loving, celebratory, directed environment.
