PW Associates CPAs (“PWA”) is seeking an experienced tax professional to serve domestic and international clients.

PWA is a semi-virtual CPA firm; our team works remotely. We have offices in Dallas and Houston for the rare occasions when clients want to meet in person; the rest of the time we work from our home offices. Most of our team members reside in Dallas or Houston.

We are a boutique firm focusing on providing tax, controllership and outsourced accounting, and advisory services. PWA has expertise serving companies involved in international trade.
Qualifications Sought

We are looking for an experienced tax principal who has extensive public accounting tax experience, as well as client advisory and leadership experience.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about client service and who enjoys being a tax advisor and overseeing tax compliance.

We seek a tax principal who aspires to have their own practice and serve clients under the umbrella of an established firm.

Our clients expect, and we look for, talented tax principals who communicate well and often. We seek individuals who keep clients and colleagues well informed on tax issues and law changes, tax return preparation status, upcoming deadlines, and who provide feedback on tax planning (as well as risk minimization) ideas.

The qualified candidate will need to be a demonstrated self-starter who takes personal responsibility for their work.

We have a policy of not working for ethically questionable or demeaning clients. By the same token we expect team members to be completely honest, ethical, and thorough in their work.

CPA or enrolled agent certification is a requirement for this position.
Experience with Ultra Tax is preferred.

Responsibilities
This position will have ultimate responsibility for a variety of client tax matters including …
• advising clients on tax matters,
• tax compliance,
• project management,
• tax research,
• coordination with accounting staff,
• etc.
