Job Description

Under the general direction of the CEO, the Business Manager is responsible for day to day business administration, developing strategic business relationships with vendors, licensees, and tenants.

Responsibilities:

Work with managers to develop long – term strategic initiatives
Establishes a vision to help guide the development and implementation of department goals, objectives, policies and priorities.
Confers with the CEO and other airport executives in implementing strategies to increase operation capacity and programming.
Develops and recommends to the CEO various plans, policies and programs designed to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Support customer-facing operations
Establish and grow relationships with relevant partners/vendors
Assist CEO with renewal, negotiation and review of vendor contracts
Work alongside the Operations manager to ensure the business runs smoothly
Strategize, implement, and oversee processes for increased productivity and growth
Review license agreements, licensee complaints and concerns
Liaise between members of management and CEO Assist with lease negotiation
Review and assist with company insurance renewals
Assist with compilation of monthly, quarterly, annual reports and operational data
Alongside Operations Manager, ensures effective relationships with fire, medic and police agencies in order to develop policies, systems and processes for effectively managing emergency operations.
Responds to and resolves sensitive inquiries and complaints from both external and internal sources.
Participates as required in the Airports emergency response plan.
Works standard business hours, Monday-Friday. Schedule subject to irregular hours, and emergency calls back to work. Occasional travel required.

Regular working hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 4:40 PM

Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree in business, management, airport management, or related field. Major coursework should have included an aviation-related field, business or public administration. MUST have at least 5 years of Airport Business Management.
