Job Description

Position Overview: Full Time. Our Medical Receptionist will play a key role by delivering a welcoming experience for patients with hearing loss, by directly interacting with them and their loved ones in person, over telephone and/or electronically. Help us build a unique, fast-growing non-profit family-focused center that is changing the lives of patients of all ages. Work with a team of professional co-workers who are passionate about providing excellent service to children, adults and their families in our community.

• Be a TEAM player in a fast-paced and busy office environment
• Have strong work ethic and attention to detail, be highly organized and capable of effective time management, prioritization and multi-tasking
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and co-workers

Skills Required

Job Requirements:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent/GED
• Bilingual, English and Spanish fluency in both spoken and written form
• Relevant experience as a medical receptionist, insurance specialist or similar position
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, Athena preferred
• Strong understanding of relevant laws, best practices and specific policies, including but not limited to HIPAA regulations
• Pleasant and assertive personality, performing with bright smile and friendly tone

Compensation:

$17-$21 per hour depending on experience
