Our Child Development Teachers, Support Teachers and Aides care for children from birth through 6th grade and earn a competitive hourly wage.

Position Overview:
Grace Kids Children’s Ministry is seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Development Teacher to provide a nurturing, Christ-centered environment where children can grow spiritually, emotionally, and developmentally. This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children, have strong communication skills, and are committed to fostering a safe and engaging learning atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and compassionate care to children from birth through 6th grade.
Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum that support spiritual, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Foster a loving and structured classroom environment that encourages learning and growth.
Communicate effectively with parents, volunteers, and co-workers to ensure a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning space.
Follow all ministry policies and childcare best practices to ensure the well-being of every child.
Assist in planning and facilitating Bible lessons, Pre-K lessons, worship time, and interactive activities.
Model Christ-like behavior and values while engaging with children and families.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Prior experience in childcare, early childhood education, or a related field preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work well with a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.
Passion for serving children and helping them grow in their faith.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Provide hands-on support in managing classroom routines, transitions, and activities.
Help create a warm, welcoming, and structured environment where children feel safe and valued.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, volunteers, and co-workers.
Support children in developing social skills, independence, and a love for learning.
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom setting.
Help with classroom setup, cleanup, and preparation of learning materials.
Provide individualized attention to children as needed to ensure their well-being and engagement.
Follow all ministry policies and safety procedures to ensure a secure environment.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Experience in childcare, early childhood education, or classroom support preferred.
A patient, flexible, and team-oriented attitude.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to take direction from the lead teacher and work collaboratively.

Positions Available: (1) Part Time 14 + Hours depending on the week.
Position Overview:
Grace Kids Children’s Ministry is looking for a caring and flexible Aide to support our classrooms by assisting teachers and providing care wherever needed. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is eager to serve in a faith-filled ministry setting. The Aide will help maintain a nurturing and structured atmosphere that fosters spiritual, cognitive, social, and emotional growth for young learners.
Responsibilities:
Provide support to Pre-K teachers by assisting with classroom activities, transitions, and routines.
Step into different classrooms as needed to ensure proper supervision and care for children.
Foster a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for children.
Assist in managing behavior, encouraging positive interactions, and promoting learning through play.
Help with classroom setup, cleanup, and preparation of materials.
Supervise children during snack time, playtime, and group activities.
Provide individualized attention and support to children as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in shared spaces and classrooms.
Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents as needed.
Follow all ministry policies and safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Experience working with children preferred but not required.
A patient, flexible, and team-oriented attitude.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with children and sharing God’s love.
Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom needs and teacher requests.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Available Shifts: some hours are for full time positions only*
Sundays: 7:55 AM – 4:15 PM: plus/minus 30 minutes
Mondays: *8:45 AM – 4:15 PM | 6:15 PM – 9:00 PM: plus/minus 15 minutes
Tuesdays: *8:45 AM – 4:15 PM
Wednesdays: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM: plus/minus 15 minutes
Thursdays: Occasional shifts as scheduled for special events
Fridays & Saturdays: Occasional shifts as scheduled for special events
Schedules may vary based on ministry needs and special events.
Special Events & Required Training
As part of our team, you will be required to be present for the following special events and worship services:
Holidays that fall on a Sunday or Wednesday evening (including the Wednesday before Thanksgiving).
Christmas Eve services, Summer Camp Week, GI Conference Week, and other key events as designated.
