THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands 15th Annual Fall Home & Garden Show will be held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive, on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 2 and 3, 2017.

Those in attendance will have an opportunity to learn about the latest technology in home building, outdoor kitchens, interiors, landscapes and more from the 200-plus local home-improvement experts scheduled to appear.

Dr. Lori Verderame, author and star antiques appraiser from the Discovery Channel’s “Auction Kings,” will present Dr. Lori’s Antiques Appraisals Comedy Show, twice a day throughout the show. A unique, interesting and informative presentation injected with Dr. Lori’s own brand of humor, show goers are invited to bring antiques, collectibles, family heirlooms or other items for an opportunity to see them appraised live on stage for an instant history and valuation.

Kicking off the show on Saturday, Randy Lemmon will broadcast 740 AM KTRH’s GardenLine live from the show from 6-10 a.m., later taking The Woodlands Lifestyles & Homes Magazine Home Idea Stage to answer questions on gardening in Southeast Texas. In addition, Lemmon will autograph copies of his latest book, “Texas Tough Gardening.” Show attendees are invited to stop by his broadcast booth where gardening items, courtesy of his show sponsors, will be given out while supplies last.

Putting a new twist on outdoor kitchens, Cunningham Gas Products will present Le Griddle, a new cooking experience that provides healthy, easy and quickly cooked food. Demonstrations of the product on Le Griddle Cooking Stage by Cunningham Gas will take place both days of the show, with free samples available while supplies last.

In an effort to keep the interiors of homes comfortable and beautiful, those attending the show will have an opportunity to visit with experts at Simple Elegance Designs’ HunterDouglas Products Feature Exhibit, which will include the very popular PowerView Motorization, Designer Roller Shades, NewStyle Shutters and much more. The beauty of HunterDouglas’ innovative products are matched only by the functionality of modern technology, allowing the company’s window coverings to be digitally programmed to provide maximum protection from the Texas weather – all with the touch of a smartphone.

For a quick and inexpensive update to personal living spaces, nothing beats a new color scheme to make a home look and feel new. Simply sharing photos and/or color swatches at the Ask the Sherwin-Williams Color Experts booth will help get homeowners on the right track. Using the paint manufacturer’s ColorSnap Color Selection System, the consultants manning the booth will answer questions and provide guidance for the perfect fit.

Tickets for the 15th Annual Fall Home and Garden Show The Woodlands are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, and children 12 years and younger can attend for free. Free covered parking is available in the parking garage behind the convention center next to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion at Six Pines and Lake Robbins. After parking take the pedestrian skywalk connected to the 4th floor of the garage that will lead you to the hotel/convention center. Follow the show signs that will direct you to the escalator down to the lobby and the show entrance.
