Robinson Road Realignment
The intersection of Robinson Rd and Hanna Rd is extremely over utilized. The City of Oak Ridge North has accepted responsibility for the realignment project but they need Montgomery County Precinct 3 to assist. James Noack, the Commissioner of Montgomery County Precinct 3 should assist the County Attorney in negotiating the sale of the community center located at Robinson Rd and Hanna Rd. The Commissioner should agree to pay to expand Hanna Rd and pay the County's portion of the realignment of Robinson Road.
Why is this important?
We are citizens within Montgomery County Precinct 3 and this intersection has it currently is creates a a safety hazard. The road is extremely over utilized. The road is part of the major thoroughfare plan and is not the sole responsibility of the City of Oak Ridge North.
The realignment will ease traffic congestion making the daily lives of the constituents better.
It will allow the businesses in the area to be more readily utilized and increase tax revenue.
How it will be delivered
We will use the signatures in a presentation at Commissioner's Court, potentially host a press conference and email them to government officials.
