Local Animal Shelter Overflowing with Kittens

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Our shelter is currently receiving about 100 kittens a day. Some of these kittens are with their mommies, but most are not. We have every kind of kitten you can imagine, calico, black and white, burmese, orange tabby, white, brown tabby. There are some real characters here.

We really want them to find families as we do not have the room to keep the huge amount of kittens we receive for very long as our cat adoption room is already full to bursting.

This is a really desperate situation. We want these kittens to be saved. If you have ever considered adopting a kitten, or even fostering one, please come down to our shelter (on Hwy 242/I-45) and see these beautiful babies.

There is no cost to foster. You just come to the shelter, fill out an application form and you can take the kitten home right then. All of the shots are paid for by the shelter and any medical treatment while you are fostering is also paid for by 'Friends of Montgomery County Animal Shelter'. You also receive a free bag of food for the kitten to start you off.
