Concert in The Park Picks up Sponsorship

Munday Chevrolet signs on as presenting sponsor for Concerts in the Park

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Recreation Center is proud to announce Munday Chevrolet’s commitment to be the presenting sponsor for Concerts in the Park 2008. Concerts in the Park are a longstanding tradition in The Woodlands, featuring a spring, summer and fall lineup with 18 concerts in all.

The Community Associations would like to thank Munday Chevrolet for their support and their commitment to the community through this program.

Concerts in the Park are free, live musical events held on Sunday evenings at Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive. All concert bands are family-friendly, and the lineup caters to many tastes, including rock n’ roll, bluegrass, zydeco, calypso, blues/jazz and more. Since 1984, attendees of all ages have enjoyed the variety of music that the series provides. Northshore Park offers plenty of lawn space for tossing balls and Frisbees®, a large playground, two sand volleyball courts, pathways and activities for all members of the family.

Munday Chevrolet is located at 17800 North Freeway, Houston, and has supported various Parks and Recreation programs over the past two years. This is the second year Munday Chevrolet has been the presenting sponsor for Concerts in the Park.
