11th Annual Drive & Drop Donation Event

Montgomery County District Clerk Drive & Drop

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- In 1998, our District Clerk, Barbara Gladden Adamick proposed an idea that instead of holding a Christmas Party for the staff, we would sponsor a local non-profit agency and give items and/or funds to that agency and also attempt to obtain public support and donations/funds for that agency. We are now in our eleventh year and this year we are sponsoring The Friendship Center of Montgomery County.

We will hold this event on Wendesday, November 5, 2008 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. outdoors in front of the main court house on the corner of North Thompson Street and West Davis Street(hwy 105 West). Radio Station KVST 103.7 FM will be there to make live radio announcements.

Items Requested for Donation

Please note that we ask that large, bulky and/or heavy/commercial items be delivered directly to The Friendship Center at any one of their five locations. We also ask that all donated equipment items should be in new and/or gently used condition and as complete as possible. All food and “personal” consumable items MUST BE IN NEW, UNUSED CONDITION.
