The Woodlands Mothers of Multiples receives awards from March of Dimes.

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Mothers of Multiples were presented several awards for their 2008 fundraising efforts for the March of Dimes. The Woodlands Mothers of Multiples received awards for being the second highest fundraising team in Montgomery County, placing fourth in the Greater Houston area, and sixth in the state of Texas. The proceeds from the March of Dimes major fundraising effort, the “March for Babies,” funds research for birth complications, multiple birth issues, and prenatal care.

On hand to present the awards were the March of Dimes 2009 Montgomery County Revenue Committee Chairman, Skeeter Hubert, his wife, Bonnie Hubert, the recently crowned 2009 Mrs. Woodlands International, and the Montgomery County March of Dimes Development Coordinator, Gerta Fereday.

The 2009 “March for Babies” is scheduled for April 26, at Lone Star College Montgomery Campus.
