THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- From plasma and LCD televisions to specialized technology to connect multiple in-home mediums – it will all be on display at the Best Buy exhibit at the Seventh Annual Spring Home & Garden Show at The Woodlands, set for March 7-8 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center.

“We’ll be showcasing the newest lines of plasma and LCD TVs, including Pioneer Elite, Panasonic and Samsung brands,” said Brian Green, Best Buy’s business technology specialist.

Green said that attendees who are interested in getting their hands on any of the Best Buy TVs and appliances they see at the show would have the opportunity get financing interest free anywhere from six to 36 months. “Financing promotions change from week to week but anyone interested can talk to us at the show or get more details at the Best Buy store on Lake Woodlands Drive, near the Home & Garden Show,” said Green.

Best Buy will also be featuring new, high-tech gadgetry to outfit home theaters. “We will have a whole home-theater room set up with Blu-ray and video game systems such as XBOX360 and Nintendo Wii,” said Green.

Another new technology to be featured is the multi-zone receiver. “These receivers allow you to control various technology products in different areas of your house from the same receiver. You could have it playing music outside by the pool and the same receiver can control what the kids are watching on TV in the house,” said Green. “Denon receivers are a good choice for this scenario.”

Check out Apple TV, which allows users to play all music and movies they have collected from iTunes on their television. “It goes through your computer network onto your TV,” he said.

Finally, if all this technology seems overwhelming, Green said Best Buy would be offering its $100 in-home consultations for free, only for those who sign up at the Best Buy booth at the Home & Garden Show in The Woodlands. “We do a general inspection of your home and then give recommendations about what type of technology or TV that will fit your needs,” said Green.
