Concert-in-the-Park Brings on the Heat

I visited Northshore Park last Sunday evening to take in one of the Concert-in-the-Park and was pleased to see that the record breaking heat did not keep area Dad's from enjoying the island sounds of the Carribean Steeltones.

Armed with lawn chairs, blankets and coolers, concert-goers were able to listen to music, visit with family and friends, cook out on one of the park's grills and let their children run and play.

If you have not had an opportunity to go to one of the park's concerts, it is not too late. Northshore Park will be holding two more Concerts before their summer series comes to a close. Sunday, June 28th, the park will be host to the Level One Band (Motown Review) and on Saturday, July 4th, the park will present the country sounds of Nigel Edison.
