Actors Deliver A White Christmas to The Woodlands
THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Recent snow flurries in the Houston area inspired, for many, dreams of a White Christmas. A cast of local talent and NYC equity actors deliver your Christmas dreams as White Christmas takes the stage Dec. 17-20 at The Woodlands High School.
White Christmas, the all-time #1 pop song and most-recorded tune in history, first inspired the beloved classic film, and now a brand-new old-fashioned musical as rare as Texas snow.
This heart-warming musical tells the story of two war veterans turned vaudeville hoofers Bob Wallace & Phil Davis (Richard Amelius and Todd Michael Cook, both of NYC), and the songbird sisters Betty and Judy Haynes, they can’t help but fall for (Spring native Katherine Weatherford of NYC and Lee Anne Denny) who invade the Vermont farmhouse of retired Gen. Waverly at Yuletide. It features Irving Berlin’s best songs (Blue Skies, I Love a Piano, Count Your Blessings).
In addition to acting talent drawn from the local community, the cast for this production includes professional actors hired to play key leading roles. A five-piece ensemble will provide live musical accompaniment.
