THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) has filed a Form 10-Q/A, the sole purpose of which is to furnish Exhibit 101 as required by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), for the quarterly period ended June 30, 2010.
Exhibit 101 constitutes the company's first interactive data exhibit that includes detailed tagging of footnotes and schedules formatted in eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL). The SEC requires the initial submission of Exhibit 101 containing detailed footnote tagging to be within 30 days of the filing date of the second-quarter 2010 Form 10-Q.
