Lady Cavaliers Outlast Magnolia

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The College Park High School volleyball team outlasted state-ranked Magnolia 3-2 (16-14) in a thrilling match Friday at College Park.

The match see-sawed back and forth with momentum swings throughout all five games.

The Lady Cavaliers took the first game 26-24 only to find Class 4A No. 3 state-ranked Magnolia winning the next two games by identical scores of 25-21.

So it was College Park’s turn to shift the momentum in its direction. The Lady Cavaliers rallied for a 25-20 win to even the match and force a deciding game.

And it couldn’t have been any closer with the Lady Cavaliers prevailing 16-14.
