THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Friends of Texas Wildlife are putting out a ‘call of the wild,’ anyone who wants to have a wild and fun time to benefit the wildlife in The Woodlands and surrounding area. On June 15, a fundraising benefit will be hosted at The Bar Next Door, located at 9026 Carraway Lane in Magnolia.

The event will feature live music by Marla and the Marauders, BBQ plates for $10 each (1 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.) Karaoke, dunking booth, 50/50 raffle, and both a live and silent auction. Donations to the auctions would be greatly appreciated; call 281-259-2004.

“Fundraisers like this are essential to the survival of Friends of Texas Wildlife,” said FTWL President, Janette Winkelmann. “Donations are our only means of support.”

FTWL is a 5(c)3 non-profit organization that depends on generous donations due to lack of government assistance or grants. Friends of Texas Wildlife supports the rehabilitation of native Texas wildlife, and promotes co-existence of wildlife and people through education.

Surely you have something around your house that is listed on the FTWL ‘wish list.’ Take a look and see how you can help out with some essential items at FTWL Wish List
