UPDATE: Due to inclement weather, the game Thursday has been rescheduled for Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Mumford. Because of the change of venue, WOL Sports Live will not be able to live broadcast Game 1 of the series; however, tune in Saturday for Game 2 and Game 3 (if needed).

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Since 1996, Woodlands Online has been serving residents and businesses of The Woodlands. We are excited to announce that starting for the 2014-2015 school year, Woodlands Online, in partnership with CISD, will be streaming live athletic events for local high schools, starting with The Woodlands High School team's baseball playoff games this week. To view the game Saturday, click here.

WOL Sports will have cameras shooting the action and a production team transmitting the games live to you on the Internet. Parents, family members, and friends can watch sporting events on their computers from anywhere.

The live streaming of events will begin in May, first with The Woodlands High School baseball team's playoff game series against Bowie, and then the spring football games at the local CISD schools hosting spring games: The Woodlands and Oak Ridge. As the 2014-2015 school year progresses, the varsity football games will be streamed as well from local stadiums.

WOL Sports will also cover the other fantastic athletic programs with live-streamed games, such as volleyball and baseball. As WOL Sports progresses, keep an eye out for play-by-plays, interviews of players and coaches, and more.

We hope you'll tune in this Saturday for Game 2 and Game 3 to watch The Woodlands High School Highlanders take on Bowie in Area, generously presented by our Title Sponsor Donna Wick Public Relations.
