CPHS band a finalist for “Battle of the High School Marching Bands'

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Carnival Cruise Lines and KHOU 11 today announced the five finalists for the “Battle of the High School Marching Bands” competition, a search for the most spirited band in Greater Houston. While the contest attracted entries from more than 40 talented bands, the following five schools were selected by the judges as finalists:

· Lamar High School

· MacArthur High School

· Manvel High School

· Stephen F. Austin High School

· The Woodlands College Park High School

Now these finalists have to strike the right note with fans to take home the ultimate prize, the title of “The Most Spirited High School Marching Band in Houston.”

From now through October 22 at 5:00 p.m. CT, Houstonians can rally around the KHOU 11 Facebook page to view the submission videos and vote for their favorite band, up to one time per day. The winning band will perform on KHOU 11 News this Morning the week of October 27.
